Default Insurance for a young guy?

I'm a great driver, but the insurance companies wont see it like that, I'm 20 but I've been involved in two incidents, one was after hurricane sandy and there were no traffic control devices and someone slammed into me, but no fault was determined, equal fault actually, the second incident was was an older driver ran through a red light an t-boned me, totally not at fault. So right now, my insurance, with my mom on the plan is about 500 a month lol, is there any way to get it down?

My insurance was absurdly high when I was your age. Unfortunately the combination of being both young and male has dramatic results on your insurance rates. You might try shopping around different companies, but I think you're pretty much hosed.

Yeah, I've tried the different companies thing, They all share the same info. So unless I can change my age and wipe my driving record clean, I'm screwed for the next decade lol.

Cheaper car and liability only insurance is the best way to minimize your insurance rates at your age.

Well, I'm 24 now and my insurance rates are much much lower. However I also live in Texas now (instead of Connecticut) and I also don't have any moving violations or accidents.

I'm 22, I've got an accident and two moving violations and my insurance is like $100 a month...full coverage.
