Default 2016 audi s5 mods

Hey guys, I just ordered my very first vehicle the audi s5! its going to be a long wait (3-4months delivery). In the mean time I thinking of what after market stuff i should get for my s5. Now just to let you guys know, I JUST got into cars, however my friends talk about cars 24/7. My friends tell me the rs5 grill is a must, resonator with an x pipe is a must, spacers and getting the car lowered is also a must. Do you guys know any other mod that is a must on an s5? Is getting spacers bad for your car? I just wanna know what the car community has to say!

Personally, I wouldn't go too far with modifications. I mean, if it was that easy to improve upon the car's performance, wouldn't the manufacturer (who imployes countless engineers and spends dozens of millions into production) have done it on his own?

Spacers, for instance, are a bad choice by my standards. Yes, you are widening the car, but you are increasing scrub radius, adding unsprung weight and for most spacers I see - risk having the wheel come off.

I had once reviewed a collision (actually with an Audi) where a spacer fell off when turning left in a junction, culminating in the car hitting the traffic lights.

The only person more unhappy than the Audi driver, was the Doctor who's car was impaled by the collapsed post....

I appreciate your enthusiasm for your car but I would honestly wait until you get it and drive it around for a bit before you decide on what you actually want to change. That is a seriously nice car straight from the factory so take your time.
