Default Coolant capacity 9.2 L, was only able to put in 5 L

Hi all,

Regarding my recent attempt at a coolant flush on my Lexus es330 (2005).

1)manual says the coolant capacity is slightly over 9 L.

2)I was able to put in around 5 L.

Drained out of the petcock and refilled through the hole that was covered by the radiator cap.

Am a little worried that only 5 L went in while the capacity was at 9.2?

no wonder, you only drained radiator, engine block and heater core have coolant too, with t-stat closed, you wont be able to get it out, you need to remove t-stat, and use air pressure hose to push out all coolant.
why do you want to replace it anyway?

or you can remove heater core hoses, and empty it, this way you may be able to use shop vac to suck coolant out of the block.
