Default Civic

My brother (1.5 years older than me - 19) just got this car. Personally, I think he could've done better for $2800. But whatever, at least its a 5-speed

198,000 miles? On a 1998? Jesus. Did it follow Moses in the desert for those some 40 years?

And I personaly hate Civics, so I'mm just let you guess what my whole take on the car is. Least he did one thing right and went with a stick.

Ha, same here. If you do the math, it is only 25000 miles a year. That is not impossible... 66 miles a day on average. My dad drives to work approx 70 miles each way to work 5 days a week. That 36000 miles a year. Good thing it is the company car.

....O_o

Then again, most of the people in my family are chicks, they drive like grandmas (ironicly, excluding my grandma...Jetta GLI) they average like 10,000 miles a year.

I think he could have found something better, but it is hard as crap finding a decent car under 3 grand, under 2 grand it is near impossible to find something that is decent with working AC.

That car has a 4/60 A/C system: 4 windows down, going 60MPH.

Just so you know for future reference, this is not the forum to make those kind of comments. I'm sure you read that in the TOS, right?

Yes, please play nice.

As far as the Civic goes, well, it goes dosn't it? That's really the original purpose of a car. However, I think he probably could have done better for his money, but there are plenty of things to upgrade and tune on Civics.
