Talking My car...is a Mustang

Yep, its my first car. I got it because my dad wanted a 65' with a 289 V8 but he didn't want to get rid of his other "baby". So, he gave it to me . This car is strange, in a good way. The numbers the the engine and fender AND door all match up as a 1965 Mustang BUT the 65 Mustang had a 200ci 6cyl, and mine has a 170ci 6cyl. It has a alternator so it definately is a 65. Anyway! It currently is not working. The starter is totally dead and I need to get a new one. He (yes, its a HE) has been in a few accidents but, it still has a clean title !

Nice ride! Too bad it doesn't have the 289 though. Mine does! You should try and fix it sometime, I would hate to see it sit in the garage forever.

Yeah. My dads does though. It has a ton of power for being a smaller V8. My car has been sitting there for the past 9 months. Before that, when you floored it, it sounded like it had no muffler...well...it didn't. It fell off when I was flooring it. I have NO idea how that happened...it just did . Ever since then, I replace the exhaust system and totally redid the interior. Looks brand new

Nice work. I check mine over every now and then so if I get a little aggresive I know that the drive shaft isn't going to fall off or something.

What is wrong woth the 80's? They helped build the hotrod and aftermarket back up after the decade prior tried to kill hotrodding with all of the smog restrictions, fuel prices, and scared manufactures that would not build a decent car.
I am a proud owner of a 1987 LX with a 5.0. I have owned it since '93 and enjoyed every minute of it. They are a blast to drive and a cheap buy also.

If you lives in my city you wouldn't like them either, everyone and their brother has a stang, I like a unique car, like a vette or our BMW that is more unique.

Yeah it's pretty much the person's preference, I prefer VW's and BMW's
