Default Insurance.

Gunna sign up for drivers ed Friday. So yeah. I'll be somewhat legal to drive in February.

Anywho, my sister isn't the worlds best driver. At all. Failed her drivers lisence road test 3 times, tore up countless fences, curbs, so on and so forth. My mom doesn't really want my sister to get her lisence, I'm thinking (really?! ) - because she says insurance for a 16 year old (my sister) would be around $3000 if you got it yourself- and she won't put either of us on hers. I doubt its that high.

Just wondering what it'd be like for *me.* Or both me and my sister.

My sister wants an Eclipse- and I'm either getting a C10 or a F150; so I'm sure hers would be more, but I'm sure the female vs male thing would make up for it. So- how much would be something to be looking at yearly for insurance?

Have you done any online quotes, I just switched to Progressive from State Farm, try them or Allstate maybe. Just go to their site and do the online instant quote for auto insurance.

With my HUGE truck, as a 16-year old male (straight A's, top grade in my driver's ed class, and no tickets, wrecks, etc) I would have had $2800 pet year, but my dad added me to his (I just pay him pack each month) it's only $1500 per year.

What kind of policy is that, what coverages? Since I am on my own policy now I dropped the bodily injury and liabilty from 100,000/300,000 to 50,000/100,000, my collision deductible needed to be at 500 bucks since the car is new and is being financed, but otherwise I pay 114 a month.
