Haha I used to do that with my Grand Marquis. When I had studded tires, it would leave gouges in the road.

Classic 1-wheel burnout. I used to do stuff like that in my mustang, still do from time to time, but with 2 wheels.

They should, though. My Grand Marquis was terrible in the winter.

What year did you have? I remember my friend who owns that car took me home in the snow with it. Most of the roads were plowed nicely...but my neighborhood wasn't. He took the thing through about 4-5" of snow...went around a 90 degree turn...'oh whoops...dang' the car's back end just kinda rotated around like a boat

I had a '92. This car was built solely for comfort. It is the most comfortable car I have ever been in. There was no performance in mind when they designed it. The suspension is crap. My rear swaybar link tore a pice out of my chassis. It is also incredibly unbalanced. The engine is sitting almost infrom of the front wheels, and there is nothing in the back. Ford decided to make the trunk gigantic, so they moved the fuel tank forward so it sits under the rear seats. The spare wheel is also moved up. This leaves no weight in the rear al all. Very unstable, especially in snow.

You're right, that car is INCREDIBLY comfy lol no wonder they use it as a taxi. Not to mention huge...could probly fit about 5 people in the trunk.
