Default Which is the better buy? Ford ZX2 or Honda Civic EX?

I'm car shopping for a used car. I visited some local car lots today and two car caught my eye.
I'm torn between buying either:

2002 Ford ZX2 (red) with 90k miles for $4200 or

1999 Honda Civic EX (silver) with 76k miles for $6400

Both are in excellent condition.
Honestly, which one is the better buy overall?

Civic....

Its not a ricer car unless you make it to be one.

Hondas are great cars! They are reliable, very economic and there is a ton of parts for them if you ever find the need to replcae something. Plus theire resale value is better than most, hence the higher price tage than the newer ford.

Could be argued that it is still one reguardless, being a slang for a certain type of import usually modified to look badly in some peoples opinions.

But yes like I said it will be, or should be, very reliable car.

If you aren't looking to mod at all you might have more fun with the ZX2, but you can upgrade a Honda for relatively little money. I hate hondas, because every arsehat seems to think they are God's gift to racing, but I do recognize they are a very reliable economy car (NOT a race car or sports car).
