Question vauxhall cavalier

i have just fitted a new optima yellow top battery to my vauxhall cavalier sri and put the positive wires back on but when i place the negative terminal back on the indicators flash and the horn sounds, any advice would be great cheers sam

Sounds like your alarm needs to be reset.

Don't know your car but you need to check the documentation. After market or factory.

connect the positive first then negative any time installing a bat. That's not why your alram sounding though it's a Factory antitheft system just connect the battery then lock and unlock the drivers side door using the key and all should be fine.
