Default GTR transmission fluid

http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...pe=NISGTR&UID=

Is $68 a quart!

This is how they get their money back, you need 10 quarts for a fill, that's $680 not including labor.

I haven't Dynoed it yet, but I'll estimate around 280-300RWHP.

Not to mention if you try and duplicate the factory performance numbers, you will blow up your tranny. That car is really not at all as 'great' as what was first reported.

yeah...too bad too. I'm surprised, because the same company who makes the GTR Tranny, makes the Bugatti Veyron Tranny too.

They shoulda make a 6 speed manual too imo.

can I put that stuff in my focus and hope that it lets me get it into first gear without grinding and popping back out?

Nissan would probably claim that true.

Nah just get some Redline Manual Transmission gear oil.

They need a Car to bridge the gap between the GTR and 370Z...like a Supercharged 370Z.

I was talking to a few people about this after this post and the GTR is a manuel that's electronicly controlled shifting I bet the difference is the fluid doesn't conduct electricity like Hybrid coolant just a idea we'll see as time passes and i'm sure a aftermarket company like mobil 1 will make a more affordable option.

Well if you have the $ to spend on buying the car and insuring it in the first place, Im guessing you have enough to not care about these things.

If this were a Lambo, I'd agree.

But most people who buy the GTr are more thrifty than most car purchasers. As such I think they'll be pretty annoyed when they get their oil changed.
