![]() Hi, Im a new member and I also wanted to share my Australian Ford with you.
To start off it is a 2007 BF MkII FPV F6 Typhoon, it is a very fast vehicle and one of the best ever produced in Australia, It has a 4 litre inline 6 cylinder engine with factory GT35/40R Turbo using a ZF 6 speed Automatic Transmission. It has Brembo Brakes, 19" Wheels, K&N Filter, Twin Cat back Exhaust by Herrod Motorsports in Melbourne, Modded Dump pipe and Cat by HPT in Adelaide and also Flash Tuned by Bruce from HPT using Xcal 2. It also has leather and suede seats, Premium Sound (6 Stacker, Color Screen, Factory Subwoofer), Dual Zone Climate Control, Push Button Start, Ipod Intergration, Factory Boost and Oil pressure dash top gauges, FPV Dash cluster, Factory Bodykit, and a few other bits and pieces. In its current guise it has 307kw/412hp at the tyres on 15psi of boost. Future plans for this new year will be, Upgraded turbine on the GT35/40R turbo, 72lb Injectors, bigger fuel pump, Bigger Conrods for bottom end strength - Im hoping for over 400kw/536hp at the tyres on 98ron Pump fuel and 18psi of boost, then go for 500kw/670hp on NOS and more than 20psi boost. I want 1/4 mile times of very low 11's on pump fuel then will try and crack a high 9 with the NOS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() Wow, I can't believe no one else has commented on this one yet!
I would say that this is an awesome car, but it would be an understatement. Having been in the passenger seat of it and feeling what its capable of is just amazing.

![]() I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that australia has significantly lower fuel prices which allow them to drive a bigger variety of 'muscle' type cars than a lot of other places.

![]() In my opinion the US 6cyl mustang should really be running this engine, you have to feel it to believe it, and I get on average with some mild and not so mild driving 240miles/400km/per tank 68 litres at roughly AUS$70 to fill for 98ron Premium fuel, it has great economy for the power, it also has bang for buck with roughly 500rwhp/1000nm of torque to be had for less than AUS$2000. Ford Aus have stuffed themselves by not exporting this car, it is the equivelant to the SVT vehicles in the USA. oh and Australia has some of the worst petrol prices in the world
