Default Stupid focus!

So. whenever I play a CD in my focus and hit a bump my cd skips and then I have to turn the radio off and on again. The radio is the stock one from Ford. It goes in next week to get the trans looked at to see if the error can get fixed after fighting with them for 5K miles with the.. SAME DAMN PROBLEM!

New headunit time!

Cost= $50-$100 for the head unit
$15 for the wiring harness
$15 for the faceplate adapter

Adding a part to your car that's not made by Ford:
Priceless.

Nnah its I go to ford, have the head unit replaced. ***** and moan about all the problems and threaten I call my car a lemon and its their problem, then they set me up with Sync for free :P

P.S I can go to crutchfield get a good headunit for like 150, and it includes the new DASH I need for an aftermarket radio, the adapters for free

Given you have reported the problem 3 or more times to the dealer you could claim lemon law ford would pay you every pennie you paid for the car interest and all minus .32 cents a mile for every mile on the car. Just an idea since your tired of it anyway.

LOL I'd get 17,000 for the car, 1K in interest, and lose 1800 on mileage. LOL

dang with 18k I would buy a used 05+ Mustang GT or 01 Cobra. Actually you MIGHT even be able to find an 03/04 cobra.

Now. I was watching a review of the 08 focus. he said to buy a civic. I have to agree... 120%. Now, for the hell of it I went to fords site. RIGHT NOW, I can get a FULLY loaded SE with all the options (including the ambient light and power windows, mirriors, locks etc. and sirius) for LESS than I paid for my TOTALLY base 08 S with no traction control or abs, and manual.. everything!

NOT THAT I WOULD EVER BUY ANOTHER FORD AGAIN.

I would not base your expierence with just one car. Lemon cars are a fact of life for sure. You wont find a manufacture with NO lemons. Even Honda. But its your choice.
