Default Crappy breakdown services.

Last year my wife took out breakdown cover on one of our cars unaware that we had already been given it free by the main dealer who supplied the new car. Two weeks later when she realised that she had duplicated the cover, she attempted to obtain a refund but this was unhelpfully refused. We were unhappy about this but grudgingly accepted that at least we had double cover. The car wasn't used over the winter so the battery was flat when we tried to start it last month. I rang the first breakdown firm but was told that the bad weather was delaying assistance being provided, so this prompted my wife to ring the second firm. When she did so she found that she was speaking to the same Irish based call centre as I had done when I made the first request of a completely different firm. This call centre (which acted for several breakdown services ) would NOT accept a second call for assistance despite our having cover from two different breakdown firms. As if this not bad enough, when we complained to the major, well known breakdown service their Operations Director then rang me late at night and called me a w----r for having complained. He later emailed me a severe virus that caused my PC to crash bigtime. If anyone wants to learn more, then please just ask.

Best breakdown service = a friend with a garage full of fancy toys and a trailer...preferably a friend who owes you for past favors. lol
