Default mustang i found.

he is selling it for $8000 what do you guys think.

Quote:
The vehicle listed is my 1995 Mustang Gt. It has been my on-going project for the last 5 years. I will start by describing the exterior. It was professionaly repainted 3 years ago. It is black with a metallic blue flake. It has a Gun Metal Gray Boss stripes with a custom touch on the back where I had the stripes brought over the spoiler of the car. The entire car was cleared with Graffiti clear coat which is very thick, and very durable. The hood is the Cobra R hood(fiberglass/steel reinforced) and weighs about 8 lbs. Under the hood you will find my $12,000 investment. The bottom end is bored .003 with a forged steel 347 stroker kit and 20.1 cc dished pistons. It has a trickflow rollerized cam (similar to the E303), retrofit hydraulic lifters, trickflow twisted wedge heads, and stainless steel valves. The upper and lower intake are ported trickflow as well. It has a BBK 75mm throttle body, 42 lb/hr injectors, and an 80mm MAF sensor. I installed a Vortech V1 supercharger and it currently has an 8lb boost pulley on it. I also installed a Vortech fuel pressure stabilizer, MSD boost controller, Vortch fuel pump, Summit distributor, and a 50,000 volt coil. All of that is pushed through BBK headers and a flowmaster 40 series exhaust. It also has a motorvation custom tuned chip and is tuned to run hard. It has a freshly rebuilt T5 transmission, 3:73 gears, and a stage 3 clutch (withstands 700 hp). The engine has roughly 5000 miles and the transmission has about 500 miles. It comes with the mach 460 sound system, aftermarket speakers, and a pioneer cd/ipod player. I've put everything I have into this car and it runs and drives very well. It has an incredible amount of power, sounds amazing, and is in great shape. It has been very well taken care of and I would like to see it go to a good owner. I don't want to sell it, but I am leaving for the army so I have to let it go. Shipping is flexible as I will work with the buyer. The car comes with a brand new set of black chrome bullit wheels, 18 by 9 in the front, and 18 by 10 in the rear.

I never had to car dynoed, but it should have close to 450rwhp. It has Monroe Sensatrac schocks, and cobra springs installed within the year.

Definitely get a carfax on it, test drive it before you buy it, and if possible have a mechanic you trust look it over before you buy.

Too much, unless you know the person who did the work and can trust them to be reliable.

Another thing:

Okay, the Mach sound system is a Ford premium soundsystem, but he replaced the speakers and the head unit? I fail to see why he mentions the Mach system then that he replaced pretty much everything you see and hear, save maybe the amps?

The general rule of thumb is that you are only going to get 1/4 of the money back of what you put into a car when you sell it. Take the 8,000 he is asking for, and subtract out 4000 (1/4 of his investment) and that leaves you 4000 dollars.

The question here is this: Is a stock 1995 Mustang worth 4000 dollars?

Hmm, that's an interesting way of thinking about it. I've never heard it put that way before, but it makes sense.

Yeah but this stang is supercharged + stroked. Not to mention all the other stuff. But it all depends on the seller. How bad they want to let it go.
