Default Endo's Camaro

Just bought a Camaro

1984 Camaro Z28 with a V8 L69 305 High Output motor, 5 speed manual, Edelbrock performer RPM cam, hooker headers, dynomax muffler, 3.73 posi rear end, harwood 4 fiberglass cowl hood, intake, and carb (dont know what those are), new fuel filter.

my brother and i are working on the car.

changed oil

the brakes pull the car to the left. replaced calipers. still have the problem so next im replacing the brake lines.

had an issue with the fuel draining back from the carb. i was going to replace the fuel pump but found out that the spring hose clamps weren't holding well enough so fuel was leaking back out so i replaced them.

checked spark plugs and they look good.

the body is rough but my brother is good at basic body work so we are going to fix the body up and then im going to have my uncle paint it. im going gloss black with flat black flames.

Update 1
i have about a quarter of the body work finished for the car. still have to replace the drivers fender, the front bumper, and fit the hood then what ever i decide for door handles.

i have replaced the motor for my radiator fan.

Update 2
well i have done a ton of work on my car.
-i replaced the negative battery cable and replaced the ground on that cable.
-i replaced both belts
-i replaced the trim on the t-tops
-i replaced the front passenger fender
-i replaced the bumper with a berlinetta bumper but still need to find a way to cheat and get the ground effects to mount to it and look good.
-i got the hood to fit a little batter but still needs tweaked.
-i through a coat a spray paint on my car to protect it over winter. you can expect some pics soon.
-lastly i started looking into a engine swap for my car. im thinking about a 350.

Update 3 - 3/20/10

wow i have gotten a lot done to my car.

new tranny
new clutch
new rear brakes
exhaust leak fixed
had the carb linkage fixed
new battery

but as of today i now need now shocks. lol always something

saved for body work progress

You should start pulling down the Engine accessaries painting the brackets, pulleys, brake booster, clean the fender wells may be paint them, t-stat housing, valve covers, front plastic cover, cowl plastic, and parts gloss black plus replace the water pump and paint it prior to instaling it. that would make a huge difference under the hood in apperance. Between that cleaning up the wirring and fuel lines you could make the car look mint under hood and be prud to pop it.

All together about a saturday worth of work.

SRT, I have the same opinion of bras on cars too.. I might get a clear stick on one for mine, but not the black gimp one.
