![]() Hey guys, I have had this crazy idea over the holidays...when you can't afford the gas to drive your car, and if it is already clean...how are you supposed to enjoy it? Unless you take it apart and put it back together again for the sheer hell of it, there is no way to actually enjoy it without driving, cleaning or fixing it. Well, fear no longer. If you have a driveway, wireless internet router and a laptop computer, you can sit in your car while browsing the interweb! How cool is that!? I am literally doing this as we speak!

![]() They already have vehicles with wireless networking capabilities that when connected to the service (uconnect Web, 09 Ram 1500) can become mobile wireless hotspots.
![]() I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I would assume it uses a satellite based signal for the service. Quote:

![]() Haha, that's funny. That's not my point though. My point is to ask, have you done this?

![]() on another tangent, I have saved money while traveling by pulling into the hotel parking lot, logging onto their internet, booking my room online to take advantage of 15% or $25 savings, then going inside and getting my key card to my room. Sometimes it takes about 10 minutes for the reservation to go through. While I wait I just surf the net on their wireless connection while sitting in the car.
