Default Classic Cars of 1960s-1970s

I am a fanatic of classic cars especially those produced in 1950s-1970s, I like modern cars too but not as much as the classic ones, may be because I'm an "old guy"! My father also liked cars, he always discussed about cars with me when I was a small kid. I started to read car magazines when I was in primary school.

Lately, I've been working on some woodcutprints on the topic of "classic cars", I've already finished a few which are some of the models that my father always talked about like Classic Mini Cooper, Alfa Romeo 2000GT & Ford Capri MKI, there are more to come.

I would like to share my artworks with you, do have a look if you're interested.

Thanks for watching!

Mmmm, the Ford Capri. One of my favorite classic car! Nice paintings to But I don't like all colors.
For example: By the Alfa, the roadsign is to color full. I takes your attention to the sign and not to the car. But thats my opinion.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! It's valuable to me. I understand some people don't like full color woodcut prints, that's why I sometimes did 2 versions for my woodcut, a B/W one & a colored one.

Ford Capri is one of my favourite too, it was very popular when I was young. Beautiful performance car! Eyes catching!

I LOVE classic cars :P, obviously they aren't the most petrol saving and environmentally friendly cars but I love them, new cars make me sad

One of my favourite classic is Citroen DS, I think it's one of the most pretty machine ever made. It was once elected as the most beautiful car by leading designers in the industry:
--------------------------------------------------------------
CitroŽn DS named Most Beautiful Car

What's the most beautiful car of all time? A multi-million pound Ferrari or the curvy Jaguar E-type perhaps? No, it is now officially CitroŽn's humble DS, the car most famous for saving President De Gaulle from assassination.

That was the verdict when Classic & Sports Car magazine polled a jury of the world's leading car designers to nominate the most gorgeous cars ever.

The 20-strong panel ranged from Car designer of the Century Giorgetto Giugiaro Ė the man behind the Maserati Bora, VW Golf, Fiat Panda and Lotus Esprit Ė to current Jaguar director of design Ian Callum, and each picked their top three beauties.

Although Ferrari secured the most votes as a marque, they were spread across nine different models, leaving the CitroŽn to scoop the honours as the single most beautiful classic.

The top 10

1. CitroŽn DS
2. Jaguar XK120
3. Ferrari 275GTB
4. Cord 810/812
5. Ferrari 250GT Lusso
6. Ferrari 250GT Short-wheelbase
7. Jaguar E-type
8. Lamborghini Miura
9. Lotus Elan
10. Lotus Elite (1957)
