![]() Ok so I am 16 and am currently looking around for my first car
![]() I was looking at Nissan 300zx TT, they aren't too expensive on ebay. Also was looking at older camaros, 87 Monte Carlo SS, one of my fav cars and miatas. Budget is max 8k, I don't wanna hurt the bank too bad. So, go at it ![]() Last edited by Socom; 09-10-2009 at 08:49 PM. |

![]() I wouldn't spend more than 5k for a first car. Early 2000s/late 90s Olds or chevy or ford should do you, or a 90s Honda/Toyota.
I thought that Camaro was yours..

![]() First car (inexperienced driver) + "I wanna race my friend" + 8 grand = lots of pain and crying later.
Trying to be a hotshot will just get you in deep crap, if you know what I mean. Buy yourself a fuel efficient reliable car and be done with it. |

![]() In no way am I being negitive towards you but, for 8k you are not going to beat a supercharged V8. However that is not to say you cant find a nice car for that price. Infact I would remind you of the old saying "if you cant beat them, join them"
![]() There are also a lot of nice imports you could get.

![]() I'd have to agree, particularly the 79 - 81 years. (Well, and the 70s split bumper.) The only problem with them however is that from the factory the engines were weakened by all the smog junk. However it's not too common to find a second gen Camaro which still has the original engine.
