Default e46 m3 75,000 miles worth it?

im looking to get a car and my neighbor is actually really good friends with the owner of a mercedes dealership not to far from where i live. my sister just got a mecedes c-class from there and she loves it. now i looked at the website and saw a pretty cheap (18kish) 2001 bmw m3 convertible in red. it has around 75,000 and no warranty. now my question is, without insurance being a factor, is this car worth it? i believe it has smg if thats any help.

how are these cars in snow anyways?

It's not worth more than 15k unless it's in PRISTINE condition.

And about the snow: Total crap. You'll be sliding around like you're in an ice rink.

They're manageable in the snow if you use snow tires but hardly ideal, I would avoid an SMG because they are a lot more expensive when they fail. Plus, they aren't as smooth as an auto or as fun as a manual.

I have to agree about the price too, unless it was a manual ZHP which is highly sought after I wouldn't go over $15,000 for an E46 non M.
