Default bleeding my chevy lumina

how do i bleed the brakes of my chevy lumina properly ? 1998 disk breaks i think.

If you pulled the master cylinder, you'll need to bench or pressure bleed that first.

Then you get a bleeder hose with one end over the bleeder valve and the other end leading to a catch pan, and have someone in the car. Have the guy in the car stand on the brakes, and when he is, use a wrench to loosen the bleeder screw. Bubbles will come out, or dirty brake fluid. After a couple seconds, tighten it back up. Have him back off (but not till it's tight). Then repeat until there are no more bubbles. Repeat this for all four wheels. Make sure you fill up the reservoir with brake fluid after every wheel. That would be a front rear split i believe (not totally sure) so you would bleed in this order: RR, LR, RF, LF. Hope this helps.

Default hey bro

i did it before and the pressure would just leave after driving for a bit, now it seems to be ok... although im not able to drive it right now there seems to be some brake action now working with only doing the front two tires. and limited brakefluid


thanks for the help if it stops working ill be back.
