Default Found: 850 R Wagon

I found a 1997 Volvo 850 R Wagon... I'm tempted.... I don't have a pic yet, but it looks something like this, with the stock rear spoiler and IPD headlamps and grille:

They want $4500 for it. I'll get more details after my tax return, but I'll shoot for $4000
2.3 L I5, 240 hp (179 kW) @ 5600 rpm and 221 ftlbf (300 Nm) @ 2100 rpm

I don't like the wagons as much, but looks decent.

Also, lol at the 5 banger

Better than a 4 banger, but yet not as ambitious as a 6 banger

850 R Wagons are sweet cars. Very underrated performance cars.

Naw, don't call it a six banger. It goes:

four banger, five banger/straight five, straight six

I remember the tag line when Audi first brought out the I5
"4 is to small, 6 is to bulky"
they also said
"it is easier to pull a car than to push it"

Depends on the mileage. Those things are terrible about suspension.

Also make sure the AC AND the heat work. 850's are notorious for having electrical problems that cause either or even both to break. My dad has an 850 currently and had one before in which the AC and heat both went out.

Other than that though, great reliable cars. Super sexy too. Just wish it wasn't a wagon.

Wagon for kids. And cargo space.

I'll take some pics soon, I just have a lot on my plate now. LOL, I'm getting an i5.
This has a brand new suspension in it, and the Volans are in excellent condition!
Also, everything is working as it should, and most everything has been serviced recently
