Default New 1995 Chevy Silverado

well i lost my Lincoln TC. The tranny went out and it wasnt worth fixing it.

I found a 1995 Chevy Silverado extended cab on craigs list. The body isnt mint but the interior is very clean and it runs good. Got it for $1900 and 300 less then he wanted.

Im sure i will get some pictures up eventually.

Nice find! Those silverado's are great trucks, both reliable and very tough. What engine does it have?

Unless it's a W/T, pretty sure it can only have the 350 (5.7) They only put 454s in the half tons for a couple years. W/Ts got the 4.3 V6 unless ordered otherwise.

They did make a few with the 6.5 diesels and turbo diesels.

Indeed. Most 305s were quick to burn oil too. 350 should serve you well. How many miles?

When I was looking at chevy 1500's few years back all I could find were extended cab, 4x4's with the 305. Very few had the setup I wanted with the regular cab/short box, 4x4 and the 350.

Hmm, to be honest 90% of the 1500s i've worked on from the middle 90s were 350s...not many 305s. Just about all of them around here (MN winters) are 4x4, and if they aren't most people park them for the winter. Seems to be about an even distribution of extended/standard cab.
