Default What brand/model?

Hey guys, I'm looking for sparks/wires for my truck. I have a '86.5 d21 Hardbody with the Z24i engine. I was leaning toward some of the Bosche +2's or +4's for plugs, and I have no clue who's better in the mid-performance range. If anybody can get me some good sparks/wires for $30-$35 MAX including shipping (if not local), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I have AutoZones and Pep-Boys here. I don't know if the prices vary from city-to-city and state-to-state.

Do it if you are looking to dress up your engine go for what looks nice. I personally do not think you will see a significant improvement in horsepower or fuel economy with wires alone. A new cap , rotor, and fresh set of plugs would be make a bigger impact. I have heard of many racers using stock wires. I only know of one that is listed on the net. here is the link. if you dont want to read the whole thing just hit ctrl+f and then type wires. 800hp with stock wires. I am currently in a little shouting match with a friend in my car club about who can make better fuel economy. I am planning on buying a Apexi Super AFC Neo. which will allow me to tune fuel curves both at full throttle and low throttle. For me it allows me to adjust my vtec activation. It is almost $500 though. A little more than the wires wil cost
It looks cool though

Like I said... I am looking for both plugs and wires. I do realize that a new cap, new coils, and whatever will make a bigger impact, but I do not have that much cash laying around. I can only afford $30-$35 MAX in both plugs and wires. And unfortunately, only Bosch regulars, and Bosch Platinums are available for my truck.

Hey... I just got an idea... Can somebody tell me the gap and threading on those plugs, so that I can just get the plugs with no specific car/engine?

I went on Autozones site and plugged in the info for your truck (used my zipcode though) and they gave more than the Bosch options. Might be worth loking into.

http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker...C%7ESpark+Plug
EDIT: Through the link it dosn't give all the options, try inputting your info manualy.

Wow... that's alot of plugs. Well, my dad's got a used car dealership and I can get parts 20% off the retail with no tax. I'm still looking, plus thanks for that link.

I got $60 worth of plugs and wires for $30. I'm still waiting for them. Will be here in about 30 min to an hour.
