Default Trip #6 for the focus friday!

So they got my water pump installed today. Their fixing my squeeky suspension on friday (Wierdo FTW giving me a list of the TSB's. I managed to figure out the problem, they confirmed ) so they ordered sleeves for the E-brake, and it will be good as new. I sure as hell hope so!

Is it an N/A SS or a supercharged SS?

According to Wikipedia, GM sold cobalt SS models in 06/07 with 171hp N/A 2.4l engines, not the 2.0 with the SC that everyone loves.

Ok this thing has BAWLS now. Not only is the ticking gone (my pump spun a barring when it started leaking) thank god.

I was behind this ricer civic (fart can with a body kit made for another car, spray painted red, and stuck on. I dropped into 1st at 20 and did a damn good spin of my wheels, I thought I was going to really draw attention, more than this idiot. We went down the road. he stopped at the stop sign, rev'd, rev'd, rev'd, rev'd. Didn't go anywhere. but I did smell his clutch burning.. he finally gave up, I showed him what was up. And then like 7 miles down, he floors it and gets nailed by the cops. I <3 idiot teenagers here!

Agreed with KSIMP. Cobalts are decent cars.

well... to a point.

They are cheap, and low rated through many reviews.

And no way in hell are they, as GM calls them, the little brother to the corvette. Maybe the autistic grandbaby.

But they are better than focuses, and that's what counts!

1985 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci OHV inline six | 4-speed OD manual | 310K | No power brakes | Running 100% - It hasn't driven this good in 15 years!

1984 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci six | granny four | 3.55 rear end | 210K | Brakes shot. Rear drums are doing most of the work. Not fit to drive due to that.
1997 Ford Explorer XLT | 4.0L Vulcan V6 | 5-speed automatic | shift-on-the-fly 4WD | 210,000 miles | Running 95% - Needs brakes on all four corners + bald tires
1989 Ford F150 | 300cid six...again | 5-speed | 4x4 | 160K | Needs brakes done as well. Oi!

I agree, for cheap I would actually consider getting one as much as I hate to say it. But the new turbo ones aren't so cheap and I'd rather have a turbo

Also good to hear that your Focus is on the road to recovery cluff.
