Default My Ford Thunderbird Full Suspension Rebuild and SC Parts Swap

I am currently in the process of repairing collision damage and putting an all newly rebuild SC subframe under the front of the car along with the SC Tokico shocks and Eibach drop springs. I am doing the rear as well. I have new tires and had my rims powder coated. This is the car at the start of my project:

I am chronicling the build with this thread: http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=127613

This is my latest post (today):

I am going to raise the new one in on monday along with my Tokico SC shocks and Eibach drop springs. I have Tokico SC shocks (thanks speed95!) I am putting on the rear. I am currently looking for the matching Eibach drop springs for the rear and am obtaining them. I bought some new tires (Yokohama AVID TRZs, 215/70 15s) that I am putting on the stock rims. However they arent really stock because I am getting them powder coated and I am restoring the wheel covers. I got my new fender back today, I had it painted by Woodland Body Works in Woodland California, they do great work. I have new corner and marker lights and new chrome bumper strip.

I will post pictures up on here when the car is done.

Oh, I almost forgot. I am also getting together with my buddy who is gonna help me direct wire the ARC system to a switch in my cabin so the electronic shocks work.

No lol. That will come later though, I need a 302.

It has the 3.8L which makes 140HP and 240lbft so its a torquey motor. There is alot of stuff you can do to free up power and 160HP and 250 lbft is not unattainable cheaply. I need a freer flowing exhaust and to delete my air silencer mostly...

I am alot happier with a slow car that handles great than a fast car with handling that sucks.

My car isnt really slow even. I have an 85MPH speedometer, 0 on the left, 85 on the right. I have had it pointing straight down before and still climbing. Scary **** coming from a 6cyl...
