Default '97 Altima Aftermarket Parts?

I saw a thread floating around where everyone posted their favorite online aftermarket parts retailers but I am unable to locate it.

I started this thread for a few reasons:

Quote:
To find anyone who has done any performance enhancing modifications on an '93-'96.5 ('97) Nissan Altima.

To find a reputable online retailer so I can do the same.

To find the thread where everyone posted their stores.

To see if it's even worth modifying my 2.4L rusted out U.P. Altima and to figure out what performance gains I will see.
If you can help me, I appreciate it; if not, post anyways so I get some traffic.

Thanks for the reply; turns out, I've been there before. It must have been on the list of sites that I found... perhaps I'll check my history.

Have you ever bought anything from there before? How are shipping costs?

Probably the most popular aftermarket site on the web.

I like the site but I wish I could manipulate my searches a little easier. I want to find ALL parts and brands for my Altima, not just in each category; I just want to compare price/performance ratio for everything at once.

Unless you know what the part does and the quality of it you aren't going to be able to do that. Cars aren't like PC's. You can't just go look at the clocks or something like that. Each part serves a function. Basically you need to know what you are doing before trying to mod a car, like PC's but even more so.

They won't go "X part gives X performance". You are gonna get stuff like "Upgrading to these rotors will give more surface area to grip and the slot cut design will help keep the brake pad clean".

I understand... I guess... I don't know...

Thanks for the reply.
