Default Common leak spots?

I have the GA16DE and I was wondering if any of you were aware of some common leak points. I'm leaking a bit of oil. It's been about 1,100 miles since an oil change and I've gone down to about 1/3 on the dipstick. Oil pressure light turns on for a few seconds when I start the car.

But...I can't for the life of me tell from where it's dripping. Ideas?

It's a good thing I'm going to school in August. All I'll know for 4 years will be my legs, my bike, and occasionally a bus. I'm tired of dealing with cars.

Just the typical suspects. Valve cover, rear main, front seal, timing cover, oil pan.

Thing is: It doesn't show much dripping. That is what's puzzling me.

If it's not dripping much it may be worn rings. Mine got a similar habit, found out it had low compression in one cylinder that was resolved by adding oil and retesting. That means worn rings. Logic tells me that the missing oil was being burned.

It did everything yours does. Oil light stayed on more than it should, oil went missing, yet surprizingly little drippage. Still ran fine, didn't sound funny when cranking or idling, nothing of that nature, and no blue smoke either.

Do a compression test, if you get a low cylinder squirt a few teaspoons of oil down in there and retest.

I've done two compression tests thus far when checking for head gasket problems, compression is superb on all 4 cylinders.
