Default Ordered me a CAI

I ordered a CAI for my car, its extremely cheap, but I plan on replacing the filter, I just ordered it for the tubing, what do you guys think here it is. I'll probably replace the rubber seals also, but I think its a pretty good deal considering that the high end CAI's go for $275 for my car.

I would, but knowing how anything I try to "build" from scratch would probably explode I'd say $30 well spent.

This. I would never buy any auto parts off of ebay unless its a new bumper or trunk or something like that. Definitely not performance parts however.

You pretty much can't go wrong with any brand of CAI... I've seen some that are just PVC tubing with several panty hoses wrapped around a pvc end with holes drilled in it.

Don't worry bout the eBay thing. A cai is not a complicated part.

I was thinking the same thing which is why I ordered it, I wouldn't order other performance parts from there though, such as exhaust systems, etc. But come on its a CAI, what's there to trust considering its a metal tube with a filter on the end lol.

the K&N intake for the Focus is known to make your car lean out so bad its unusable.

What why? All hear is good stuff about K&N, I was actually considering buying the cone filter from them for the intake, since I know the one it comes with is probably garbage.

I'd like to know how this works too... There is no FI anything about a CAI, it's just removing restriction and relocating the intake point to that of a place with colder air. This doesn't mean something is wrong with the CAI's, it most likely means something is wrong with the Focus.
