how hard is it to switch an automatic transmission to an manual transmission?

Depends on the car and transmission. If your car was available in the exact same configuration just with manual, chances are if you can find an OEM manual trans the swap shouldnt be too difficult.

Not terribly difficult but if you are not going to be doing it yourself it will cost a good bit. I wouldn't take on a project like that unless you are an accomplished mechanic or have some friends who are.

Yeah, if you have to ask how hard it is, it's not a DIY job for you then lol.

I'd take it to a shop. I meant by my post that it shouldn't be too difficult to find the parts and have it done, not necessarily on your own.

why don't you bring it to the auto repair shop or any professionals you know. they will fix it for you.
