Default Catch can from scraps

Ok I need a catch can for the GTO so I decided to make one from a old AC Drier rather then spend $100 or more on a decent one. I purchased the Drier for $10 at a local yard after finding the one I liked best. Then cut it and half and started mocking it up. Here is the layout.

This is the filter I'm using to help the oil revert back to a liquid from a vapor

Here is the bracket painted after mounting has been determined.

The bracket mounted in the car

and what it will look similar to except the lnes havn't been bent yet and routing is still being determined
they won't run ontop the bat post when complete

I just need to do some more cleaning and weld it back together before paint it should be a OEM look that a laymen won't even know it's not original.

Lol just saw this on LS1. Dude, I still don't understand how this works or what it even does.

it keeps oil from going into the intake tract. The focus is notorious for a lot of oil going into the intake (some people are getting a full cup after 1-2K miles.) I'll probably do this soon.

Exactly after I ported the intake the next day a thin coat of oil was covering everything so a catch can is needed. Simply the large tube pulls vacuum from the side the can but high in the bottle the smaller tube will connect to the PCV and the vacuum will pull crank case pressure from the motor which will go through the tube in the midle of the cylinder. the filter on the end of that cylinder will filter it back to liquid oil from vapor which will drop to the bottom while the air will pull out the top of the can into the intake.

I didn't explain this well at all now that I read this.
