I love doing doughnuts in the parking lots in snow. Too many people suck at driving, though. They are bad enough in ideal weather...

I much prefer front-wheel drive for snow (if 4WD isn't available) for gripping purposes. I've rarely had trouble with a FWD vehicle.

I love the snow too. I've never had a lick of trouble out of my Ford in it. Might be the non-OEM tires, might be the weight, idunno.

1984 Ford F150 | 4x2 | 300ci six | granny four | 3.55 rear end | 210K | Brakes shot. Rear drums are doing most of the work. Not fit to drive due to that.
1997 Ford Explorer XLT | 4.0L Vulcan V6 | 5-speed automatic | shift-on-the-fly 4WD | 210,000 miles | Running 95% - Needs brakes on all four corners + bald tires
1989 Ford F150 | 300cid six...again | 5-speed | 4x4 | 160K | Needs brakes done as well. Oi!

Last winter I only got to play in a freshly-covered parking lot once . And that was in 2+ feet of snow (not as fun as 2-4inches woulda been).

Playing on the roads can be fun too, but there's rarely a time when I can see all up+down a road and there are no intersections with other roads.

Even the slightest tap of the gas threw me sideways in 2wd, lol.
Those pics were taken in Central Oregon, like 4k feet elevation.

I hate snow. People can't drive in it in IL, and I now work in WI. Wisconsin drivers suck big ones when it's dry out. Snow? *shudders*

Lol, not really..WI drives similar to MN and 99% of the people can drive in snow just fine here.

My dad drives truck...he says by far the worst city to drive in is Atlanta. Apparently literally everyone is looking for an accident to collect insurance on. They don't slow down for nobody...including a semi hauling 50,000 pounds.
