Default 2000 Ford Windstar issue

I own a 2000 Ford Windstar. Acouple of days ago I topped of the engine oil and checked the coolant fluid. I found that the coolant fluid has a brownish colour and smells like burnt oil. Any ideas?

Thanks

3.8l v6? Those are famous for blowing head gaskets, and if you're getting oil smells out of the radiator chances are they're letting go. Did the engine oil also have a funny milkshake coloring to it?

Is it leaking? Was it low on coolant?

Check your oil, and if it looks like coffee and creamer, or a milkshake, you better get it off the road ASAP and get a new set of head gaskets in there

Good luck.
