FWIW I run the listed sidewall pressure. Though the sidewall pressure is typically the same as what's listed in the door and the owners manual. That's why it's nice to stick with the mfr's OE tires for a car.

Also, Mike - The Civic hybrid system works very differently than other hybrid cars. For one, the electric motor is only used for adding more power during acceleration - There is no all electric mode like the Prius. This Civic is quicker 0-60 than our Jeep, the old Lincoln, and the old Blazer. It's really a nice all around car.

Yes, unfortunately the car has an auto trans; This wasn't my decision to make when the car was new, so I'm stuck with it until this trans dies and I swap in a 6 speed.

Wow, we made it to 381 pages. Maybe I should add something witty to my first post...

I just checked the door, and it's 35psi, same as sidewall.

Edit: I also checked my spark plugs today. They seemed fairly new, all the gaps were within spec and there was no buildup or leaking oil. Checked the oil too, still good.

I started debadging the Hybrid emblems on the Civic. I called it quits when the heat gun melted the card I was using.

Also started thinking about how to make a decent looking grille block. This engine takes a looong time to warm up in the morning and I'd like to change that.

According to the trip computer I've been averaging right around the 45mpg mark in the city. I am still learning the ins and outs of the car - There are some really cool features to this engine. I have found that the charge drains pretty quickly at WOT.

I was gonna start the truck and let her warm up for a bit then i would have to pour antifreeze in her and deal with the antifreeze all over the floor. I guess she can wait till spring, good cold start/old start video.

When I checked the spark plugs, I found out that I have NGK Iridium. Are these good? I mean, they were in excellent condition, but are the plugs themselves good? I've heard platinum plugs are supposed to be good for this engine, but really I don't know much about spark plugs.

Today I gave it a nice wash+polish

Of course, when I got home I saw all the spots I missed, but it's just gonna get dirty again anyway. At least I got all the bird crap off it Good enough for $4.
