Default tach on dodge ram

i was wondering how i would go about installing a tach onto my 1991 dodge ram, it has a 318. any help is much appreciated, thanks

The tach will have 4 wires to connect, one for power when the ignition is one. his one can be found just about anywhere around the dash; ignition switch, heater fan switch, radio power etc. The second is a good ground. Another for night lighting, find this at any dash light. And finally the main wire to the ignition coil, to get the RPM signal. This will be the negative, (-) on the coil.

You screw it to the dash or window pillar.

If you can use a test light you can do this.
