Certainly some performance upgrades will be good. Cool air intake, like the merauder air box, if it will fit, K&N filter(s). Synthetic lubes, including the differential. Everyone always leaves out the differential!

If you want a nice, but affordable exhaust, i say look into magnaflow. Affordable, but great sound!

Then there is always a new sound system! Headunit, speakers and a sub or 2...

Get the computer reflashed, adding better WOT shift points and a slightly richer fuel tune and ittl take off like a shot. If you can, try to locate a Police car in a junkyard, perhaps one that slid into a pole, and liberate from it the ECU. You can also gain 5-10HP by keeping the spark plugs clean, properly gapped and changed when worn.
My whips: A tired '85 F150 with an I6 and a fourspeed...and a dead '72 Chevy C10 with a six and a threespeed...Looking to restore both to factory condition, but my own specifications.

If it ain't got a clutch, I ain't interested.
