I like how none of you have actually given me suggestions... Pretend I did it if you have to. It's not like me having this knowledge is going to kill someone. Besides, there will be scuffs in the future so what's wrong with actually giving me product suggestions?

I took a picture of the scuff but you really can't see it.

We havnt given you suggestions because there isn't a easy fix like you think. At this point the best option is a new cover for the seat. Plus why would you want a damaged part that had to be repaired on your new car that u paid a pretty penny for.

Ok, for the second time, I said nothing about seats. The seats are fine. It is the vinyl trim! And there ought to be an easy fix since I know it takes well under an hour to fix based upon the area they fixed before. You can't tell the difference once fixed so there is no reason to have them replace it.

Are you talking about the rubber trim around the doors or the plastic on the doors? because the only vinyl most cars have is the trimming around the seats. If its rubber or plastic the easyiest way to repair it is with a heat gun and some skill.

I am referring to the molding that typically is used as dashboard, console, and door panel material. I've always heard it referred to as vinyl so if it is not then my apologies. My seats are cloth.

The only thing I can think of is a episode of trucks where they did some repair work to the interior panels from a wreck the truck had. I believe it was this episode but it could have been part 2, 3, or 4.Trucks! DVD (2009) Episode 01 - "Second Chance Silverado Part 1"

I would feel more comfortable if you can post a pic just to make sure it's the same type of material. Even if you can't see the damage it would at least let me see the type of material.

I'm not going to have access to a computerfor a week or so and this site doesn't play well with my Droid when I try to upload so the pictures will have to wait.

Thanks to everyone who has helped thus far! ...to be continued.
