Biggest Scam on Cars Ever
I am typing this from a tablet so expect crap. Your probably wondering what the biggest scam on cars/vehicles that is going on right now and I will tell you.
switching the whole speedometer gauge with a totaled car that had low miles on it and putting it in your car. They sell them on ebay legal and car bandits buy them switch them out. You never know how many true miles are on your vehicle. Looook for v6,s having speedometers that go up to 180 mph when a stock one should be 110mph top speed. How to get away with this at the DMV? If the car is older then 10 years the miles are exempt on the title meaning the DMV does not care.

Tips. Before you buy a used car that's older then 10years see what the stock speedometer should look like.
Look at the overall condition and check it to the miles. Then check when the last recorded miles were to the miles now

I think if the odometers don't match or the mileage has been switched or whatever, the seller has to let the buyer know.

Silly how low people will go. Being someone that has had a hump load of car problems, this makes me quite angry. Being honest is truly the best policy and I'm sure that would be very much appreciated by any car buyer. But unfortunately this kind of stuff has been going on for a very long time and in some cases perfected so that there really is no way to know no matter how thorough you conduct your examination.
