Question HID Brands... Suggestions Please!

Okay, so I'm looking for some insight on HID's. 2 very important things. First, I am looking for brands (websites) that people have personally purchased through, and have great results. Second, I am looking for yellow HID's and I am hoping to find a brand that has a high quality YELLOW HID kit. I've seen the cheap ones, and they end up having a green tinge to them. I want GOLDEN YELLOW All suggestions are welcome and much appreciated!

Are you buying the housing and the headlight or just the headlight?

DDM Tuning

I have several sets of "cheap ones" and they are pure white. You need to order the temp color you desire, brand is not an issue as far as color goes.

I get 4300-5000K

As the temp goes up, over 5000K the amount of light output goes down. The bluer the light the less you can see ahead.

I've been buying the cheap $45 eBay kits. Had a few bad ones but overall happy with them. I've got 3 kits currently on family cars.

It is worth noting they're illegal in the US (anything that isn't original equipment headlights is).

That said, you'll want a lower end of the Kelvin scale, higher up you go the more blue it gets.

Ebay hasn't let me down for em.

And further more if you don't get an HID housing the spread will be wrong and you will be blinding people with your headlights. Either get the housings or just replace the standard bulb with new bulb when they get dim.

I run DDM tuning also. It's not the basic kit, but the upgraded one. Never had a issue, but my car has factory projectors. I currently have 6ks 3 sets high beams 60w rest 35w. I had 4500k before and wish I would have stuck with them. When these fails I'm going back to 4500k.
