Default Replacing headlight enclosure...

So, recently I left a bit of paint on a lightpost...enough to warrent a new fender and headlamp enclosure (on the driverside)...I'd rather not pay the $150 to get a new OEM one, and most of the junkyards around here are sold out of them...I found this on ebay (shut up, I hear you guys laughing ) - does it look legit? I mean, I thought driverside and passengerside enclosures were different, but this seems to be a one-size fits all. Also, will it look different enough from my other enclosure that I'd want to buy two so they match? And would it be a step up or a step down from the originals, do you think?

they are different that's a driver side it would work for the price it might be worth finding a second but it's not hard to polish up a old encloser so they match better first thow I would try Grean leaf they are on the web and ship nation wide or certifit for a after market reproduction of the original cheaper. Or it would be a god time to upgrade to some Hid lens and bulbs.

I don't know what your look like, this is likely not an OEM replacement, rather an aftermarket assembly. I don't think it would match your other side.

If you are not sure, send the seller an email.

That's not a bad idea...how much money is it likely to cost me? I looked around online, but honestly, I have no idea what to look for. lol

I thought HIDs without the balast and properly installed were illegal. Thats what ive read from some other forums. From people that are LEOs.

From what I understand the complete conversion is pretty expensive.

Hmmm, I checked out Greenleaf, and they're even more expensive than the local autostores. I guess I'll keep hunting on ebay. lol

That's odd but you would get a factory original used from them

Yeah, I know - It's weird. But I looked on their website, and besides a cracked one for $153, they were all in the $160-$170 range...O'Reilly quoted me a new one for $150. (Why are these dang things so expensive, anyway? It's a piece of plastic...)
