I wouldn't worry about those "poly lower control arm bushings". That's more of a replacement than a modification if anything; he's really splitting hairs there and was probably just tossing things in there to raise the price of a car that wasn't worth much to begin with.

Do you have the eBay/kijiji/craigslist link for us to see?

Coilovers aren't really ricey all on their own... I know some people buy them as replacements for when their struts go out.

He already linked it

Doesn't look ricey.

Taking a look at an Infiniti G35. Nice car for the price/milage. Anyone know anything about these?

Looks like I'll probably end up with a 2007 Accord. V6 250HP, EX-L, navigation, 6 speed manual, 52,000 miles. Talking the dealer down to $12.5

Yeah, unfortunately I'm financing thru my parents so some of the more interesting suggestions like a trans am wouldn't fly. I've looked my ass off for a nice WRX/Legacy GT/S60 R for $10,000... very hard to find. At least it's a V6 accord.

I haven't bought it yet so I'm still looking... a Volvo C30 popped up which looks like fun

Maybe you have better sources for car listings. I've used autotempest, autotrader, etc. I'm looking in the St Louis area (63108) or Westport, CT (06880)

2003 BMW 325ci Coupe Beautiful Color Combo Only 85k miles Ultra Clean
2002 3 series, 80k miles, loaded, manual.
Done like dinner.

Could get an E36 M3 for that money too.

If you want a WRX you're gonna toss down benjamins, 90% of them are beat to snot by boy racer wannabe Ken Blocks, the remaining 10% command a premium.

Too true on the WRXs. I've been hunting for a nice Legacy GT but have equally had a difficult time finding something good.

I'm really not sure a BMW is what I want to be going for. Expensive repairs when they inevitably happen will hurt. Additionally, I'm actually financing thru my parents on this purchase and they simply won't go for another German car after my VW has been this horribly unreliable and costly. Personally I'd take your suggestion but sadly it just wont happen.

This is what I'm talking about. Not to mention additional cost of premium fuel.
