I was looking at both the 2013 CRV and the 2013 Escape but they look pretty similar and was wondering if anyone had any info on small SUV's before I go looking tomorrow.

Ford Escape does not have a good reputation.
Go to msn.com and search "autos used" and check the reliability before you buy.

Have you considered the new Equinox, the eco version is nice. I have a friend with a 2012 she has put about 20,000 miles on it, even got 34mpg on a long highway trip.

I've heard great things about the 2013 Mazda CX-5. Great handling and fuel economy and the space/ground clearance of a small SUV.
The CRV is also a very good choice. |
