Default Mustang or Camaro for College?

I am currently a Junior at UCF, and I currently am driving a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X. I love my Jeep, but I am constantly having to pay for gas, and since it is 2wd, I dont even off road, so I am thinking of selling it and am thinking of either a Mustang or Camaro. I know they are not exactly the most fuel efficient, but I want a good American car, not some Prius crap. I don't plan on getting anything more than a V6, so I was wondering which option is best as far as reliability, fuel efficiency, and getting your moneys worth.

Thank You!

Your splitting hairs between the two. Drive both and let that decide for you.

I was looking at the 2012 for both of them, and trying to stay below $15,000
