Default AWD Sports Sedan

Hi guys, I'm new here. I actually joined to ask you this question. What car should I buy? I have a $5000 limit and I'm looking for a nice awd sporty sedan. I've been looking at the older Chrysler 300s the bmw 330xi, 525xi, 530xi some awd Lincoln MKZs and I've seen some awd chargers. I'm currently selling my rx8 for a safer, comfier and faster sedan. Any suggestions are appreciated and if you could even post craigslist links(if you can do that here) it'd be great. Thanks

If anyone can find any awd 5 series I'd appreciate it. I can't seem to find any. I go through apps and Craigslits though. Maybe I'm missing something? Or they might be rarer, in case you couldn't tell I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable person when it comes to bmws

I don't believe any of those options are going to be faster than the RX-8.

The 5 series didn't come with AWD available until 2006. FInding one in your price range that isn't clapped out is going to be impossible.

That's about as good as a 330xi as you're going to get, and that's not great either.

You need more money pal.

Sorry, I said faster but honestly that's not the big one, I just want it to be comfy and no slouch. I can't find some pretty nice MKZs but I know beamers are nice too. And thanks for clarifying the 5 series I guess that explains why I couldn't find any I still don't know when to buy though, some of these cars are gems and I don't think I'll find many like them.

A "Beamer" isn't a bad option.

All-Wheel Drive isn't nessecarily the same as faster and safer and certainly not more comfy. The drivetrain layout required means additional weight which isn't going to meet any of these criteria.

It's only safer if you lead into corners with (lots of) throttle (potentially a good thing) or in overrun (not a good idea), but I'm willing to bet you don't do either.

Keep in mind the MKZ is an expensive Ford Fusion, it's really not in the same category as the others. It's also front biased AWD, meaning it corners much more similarly to a FWD car and has the poor weight distrobution of a FWD car, as opposed to the others which were originally RWD.

If you're not sure when to buy, to be honest I'd wait. In this segment buying cheap is going to be bad. Don't buy a cheap BMW, you'll pay for it for sure

the only thing you can get that is awd and not a total junk for 5g is subaru, but it wont be any faster than your rx8, nor it is much fun to drive.
