![]() Well... this is a shame. I have a 1.3 Carburetor 1993 Corolla... -.-" It's going to take awhile to get a 1.6 AE101 Engine (Also a corolla from the same year)
I was wondering... Is there any good performance upgrades for the car? Cheap and Expensive ones... Want a pic of the engine bay/engine. Or just a particular area? Just give me a holla and i will get a pic up as soon as i can.

To answer your question, you can't make a 1.3L fast without boost.

![]() I'm sorry, and I don't like to hate on any car company or make in general, but "You know you own a corolla when you are excited to swap up to a 1.6"

I own a 91" Lancer GTi With a 1.6 Fuel Injected Engine, and it also has an on-board computer. Helluva lot better than the Corolla. And a 05" Civic VTi.

![]() I didn't intend that to refer to you as an owner, just that it was funny. The AE86 corolla has a 1.6 and is on my short list of vehicles for my collection.

but in all honesty the only way to really go would be like previously mentioned, a turbo. and for that size motor not just a little boost, but quite a bit for a huge difference. best bet would be a swap. also, pics of the entire car?
