Hey all, im on a few forums all over the internet, but thought id lend any help to fellow tacoma owners here.

I have a 1999 tacoma, extended 4x4, sr5/trd with a v6.

Ive completely rebuild the front end (steering, suspension), and done little stuff everywhere else to it. it was a lemon when i bought it (oops), but have learned so much about modern vehicles as ive always dealt with Volkswagen's, i have a 64 and a 66.

heres my list.

Custom Bumper (in the works)
steering rack bushings
control arm bushings
Timing belt/check bearings and waterpump
3rd member seal
front diff seals and rebuild r/p
transfer case seals
tranny seals
flywheel
Horn - doesnt work, need to run a fresh hot line, gonna run separate lines for when i get lights.
Lack of center console (ac) lighting, are their even lights??
air bag light
key fobs\spare keys [Alarm/transponder?]
gas tank filler neck seal, evidence of a ****ty body lift, and air breather mod once this is done.
weld a hanger onto exhaust, it rattles a little.
sway bar linkage, quick disconnect.
Relocate transponder computer back to stock location.
make air intake a box

Carrier bearing
Ujoints
5100/5125 billys
eibach 3" coils
all pro expedition leafs
new upper/lower ball joints
new tie rod ends
new front wheel bearings
arb stainless extended front break lines
new cv half shafts on both sides
clutch
pressure plate
throwout bearing
Turn signals in corner markers
gray wire mod!
grill (new clips courtesy of toyota), 8 bucks for six
CEl - cyl 3 misfire and bank 1 lean
Repair extended 4x4 shifter
Replace BROKEN/extended gear shifter. 180
Passenger side turn signal plug assembly - BFA
Windshield wipers
Driver side marker - ordered off of fleabay
got rear 4x4 mud flaps, thx BFA!!
Passenger side turn signal wiring assembly needs to be replaced with proper
New Battery, Optima RED 34R
damaged center console
flasher unit
Accel peddle loose
Misfire prompting check engine - replace all plugs and seems to be fixed for now
Tires
Belts (3)
wash/wax/clay
Flush radiator
Oil
Driver Door handle - fleabay
Driver marker rewire - broken at base of plug
Driver turn signal repair - bulb had mud between terminals breaking connection
Passenger marker Investigate[/S]

Extras
bed spray liner
camper shell
dual roof rack with attachable lights
bike rack in bed or on roof
zombie response, or raptor containment unit decals

Welcome. I was wondering the same as well. Tie rod broke? Are those Tacomas IFS?
