Default Newbie from SACRAMENTO

Hi there! My name is Rob. I have been designing a new amphibious vehicle over the past multiple years. Pretty much done with it now. Oriinally it was a Sterling Kit car that I pretty much redesigned. Viewable at HCFabrications.webs.com
My daily driver is a 69 GT FORD Torino, and I also own a 66 Ford Mustang convertable that is in prestine condition.

Cool Rob, I'm from Davis and go to school in Chico. My friend Jason who joined here not too long ago is in Sacramento.

How well does that roof seal and prevent air leaks, looks like there's ALOT of places for it to leak.

I have driven it at highway speeds and haven't had any noticable air leaks. The top is hydraulically actuated operated, by remote control, so it pulls shut with force creating a better seal. So cruising at like 65 there isnt any whistling if thats what you are asking. I also made a removable roof section that inserts into the canopy for those hot days! This might leak a few drops of water at the side windows gaskets, not too sure as I havent washed it outside since I finished working on this area.
heres a video clip showing a rather tall person iiside and the extra headroom

Heres a video from my initial testing of how well it floats. LOL with a homemade propulsion system that didn't work. I recently designed a radial flow pump that is direct drive off of motor, I haven't tried this out yet but it also extracts hot air from the motor compartment under normal street driving.
