Default New, from the other side

Hey lads, new member here from the other side of the pond.

The Netherlands, to be precise, hehe.

I've stumbled across these forums in my search for a fun community where people can help me, and the other way around, and have a good time ofcourse haha.

I don't have my drivers license (yet), nor do I own a car. But I'm going to buy a first gen Honda Civic CR-X off' a friend pretty soon, and I'm halfway through my driving lessons.

Now, some of you might be interested in what I do for a living, so I guess 'll just put that in here as well. I work as a mechanic at DAF Trucks, a major semi-truck manufacturer in the Netherlands, part of PACCAR International, which owns Peterbilt and Kenworth as well to name a few. This also explains my nickname, 'Buzzin' Dozen', which is the nickname of the Detroit Diesel V12 engine. There ain't nothing like the sound of a two stroke diesel!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

I'm going to build a radio in it with a decent yet non-annoying subwoofer, change the air filter for an open air filter, and I'm going to replace the exhaust with an open one. Thats about it really

(And no, not a noise-pipe, I hate those haha)

No no no, no fart cans at all. I want to hear the sound of the engine itself! Besides, an open exhaust pipe provides a better exhaust gas flow rate, combined with the open air filter, thats a hp boost But the CRX Mk1 has plenty of power from the factory, hehehe.

Not much power really, but so light it doesn't need it. CRX just handles like a go kart.
