Smile Hello!

Hi everyone! New to the forum and cars in general. Finally got to the point in my life where I'm going to need a car so I thought I'd go to the experts. I know its a longshot, but are there any good newer cars that have 40-50MPG around $4500? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated too! Maybe I'll learn a thing or two about cars while I'm here. Thanks for looking!

40-50 MPG in a car for under 4500$? Sure! Of course, the old Suzuki Swift that was built on the Suzuki Cultus platform can do that and has many people who indeed HAVE done that. Actually, on their forums, they have a massive thread dedicated to people who have gone above 50 MPG; and there are quite a few people who have in that car.

Though if you want a newer car; it just isn't going to happen anytime soon. If you want cheap, newer, over 40 MPG, and not a piece of crap; you'd be happier looking at a motorbike.
