Question Crank case ventilation system ,

I was told my 99 olds alero was not equipt with PVC valve?
I removed the the ventilation system. And clean out the oil from throttle body and all else , I decided to just leave the hose off , which helped it run a little better, but. Cleaning it and going three the whole process cleaning it every other day is nonsense. What do I need to do? Please help , I can't afford a shop so I'm on my own trying to figure it all out!

When I did a cold air intake on mine I ran a tube to the intake tube about 8 inches in front the TB then installed a PCV valve in the tube. I used 3/8 oil cooler line and found a PCV valve that fit in the tube at my local Auto parts store. The other option was be a custom oil catch can in the tube rather then a PCV valve. Catch cans are kinda controversial to whether the cost is off set by the benefit. The catch can I have on my current car seems to work well.
Please help reduce our mini van population and wear condoms!
