Default help on passing etest

Hello. I am not exsperenced with cars, so i thought i would try some help. I recently bought a 95 pontaic sunfire 2 door, i know the engine is a 2.2.
I took it in for a etest and it failed accross the board. So I bought a net catelitic converter, a EGR valvle, O2 sensor, feul filter. After all thos items were installed I took it down for a retest, everything passed expsept for the hydrocarbons. So my question is, if anyone knows how and what i can do to fix this so that everything passes the next time i take it in, I would be very greatful!
I dont have the sheet on me of how much the limit was and what it failed by, but i do know it wasnt much, they told me it was borderline pass and fail, but it failed. Now I just dont know what to do to help it so it passes no problem. Ok thanks in advance!!!

4 step FI service and oil flush that will take a lot of carbon out of the readings.

High hydrocarbons mean that unburned fuel/petroleum is in the exhaust. Yes a high mileage or poorly maintained engine can benefit from a crankcase flush, but you should also check the basics. Plugs & wires. Compression could be low. Fuel injectors could be worn or clogged. Fuel pressure regulator may be out of range. PCV could be plugged. Rings could be stuck or worn.

If it's not running smooth, you won't pass any emission test.

the reason I suggest engine fluch and 4step is under burned fuel and carbon build up vents back into the intake and drasticly raises these readings there probably is something else wrong but most senerios this will get you past emmisions hell i seen people fail get and oil change come right back 20 minute turn around and pass nothing was fixed but the gas an carbon in the oil was expelled half the oil job is to collect these emmisions not just lubricate. If there is a more serious problem he'll need to see a G4 certified mechanic for a proper repair any way.

Go get 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner and some new spark plugs and wires. Run the two bottle together on a full tank of gas, and install the new wires and plugs. Also go ahead and change the oil. I recommend using a can of oil flush. After all this i bet you could just scoot past the emissions test. If not im not sure what else would fix it other than a tune up and new catalytic converter
